This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is used as a Request For Quotes (RFQ) and will be awarded as a purchase order using the simplified acquisition procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5045 Computers and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software. Small Business Size is less than 500 employees. The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis the following item provided by World Wide Technology, Inc., as the Government requires consistency and compatibility with existing Government environment. Item number one (1); four (4) each, Upgrade from non UltraSPARCmodules Enterprise Server 250MHZ Module with 4MB External Cache. Customer returns: one (1) SuperSPARC processor module, Model 670.
