99 -- ON-CALL MAINTENANCE TO THE CENTRAL INTERIOR INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM (CIIDS) SOL F19650-97-Q9222 DUE 091597 POC Janice E. Santiago, Contract Specialist, 617-377-3361; Rhonda J. Chavez, Contracting Officer, 617-377-2236. This procurement consists of maintenance to the Central Interior Intrusion Detection System (CIIDS) located on Hanscom AFB, MA. Service will include but will not be limited to preventative maintenance and shall include, testing operation of sensors, card readers, keypads emergency release buttons, magnetic locks, tamper switches, CIIDS emergency electrical power to include a 6 hour battery test and labeling of all batteries used for backup power to show their expiration date and ensure they are replaced upon that date or upon their failure. The period of performance will be from 97 Oct 01 through 98 Sep 30 with two option years. This procurement will be a firm-fixed price simplified acquisition procedure using commercial practices. A site visit is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. local time, on 08 September 1997. Quotes will be due by 15 September 1997.
