A -- TESTING SERVICE FOR TESTOSTERONE, DIHYDROTESTOSTERONE, ESTRADIOL, ETC SOL RFQ70192(NR) DUE 091897 POC Marsha Gorham, Purchasing Agent or Patricia Haun, CO The National Cancer Institute (NCI) proposes to enter into a contract for assay testing of serum levels of testosterone, dihydrotestosterone, andrsotanediol, estradiol, and sex hormone binding globulin in 671 male research participants from the Health Research Association, 1240 North Mission Road, Los Angeles, CA 90033. NCI is preparing to utilize this source to maintain continuity in an on-going research project and avoid introducing new variables in the project. This notice of is a combined synopsis/solicitation and NCI does not intend to issue a separate solicitation. It is essential that all study samples be done by the same laboratory to reduce laboratory variation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, if any interested party believes it can meet the above specification, it may submit a statement of capabilities. Information furnished must be in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow NCI to determine if the party can perform the requirement.
