DELETE in Section 1. Background, paragraph 5 of Pre-qualification package the statement: "In the event that there is a requirement, a solicitation will be issued to those companies/teams/partnerships that have been placed on the prequalification list." 3. REPLACE with "The US Postal Service may issue an Ordering Agreement to some or all of the pre-qualified suppliers." 4. DELETE in Section 6. DETERMINATION OF PREQUALIFIED: paragraph 2 of the Pre-qualification package in its entirety. 5. REPLACE with "Pre-qualification Evaluation Criteria -- The Postal Service may reject any or all proposals, and may waive informalities and minor irregularities in proposals received. 6. The U.S. Postal Service may issue Ordering Agreements to some or all of the pre-qualified suppliers. 7. The Postal Service reserves the right to issue Ordering Agreement(s) to those suppliers the Postal Service determines to be the best qualified of the pre-qualified suppliers." 8. Pre-qualified suppliers may not be issued an Ordering Agreement. 9. The US Postal Service may limit the number of suppliers if it determines that a small group will provide adequate competition or that some suppliers are considerably more qualified than others. 10. All suppliers will be treated fairly and objectively." 11. ADD the following to Section 6. Determination of Prequalified, paragraph 1: "The primary areas to be used in determining pre-qualified suppliers are listed in Section 1 (Description of Requirements) through Section 4 (Financial Capability) of the pre-qualification package with with all sections being of equal value. 12. Selection will be based considering the integrated assessment of the total proposal and specific criteria." (0241)
