The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide on-call maintenance for items of Government owned SGI hardware and operating systems and peripheral devices. Maintenance is to be performed on-site at the Coastal Services Center, Charleston, SC. The term of the contract will be for a base year of November 1, 1997 through October 31, 1998 with two (2) additional one-year options. The contractor shall be required to provide all necessary maintenance, labor, repair parts, maintenance supplies, tools, test equipment, transportation, documentation, diagnostic software, and other related services as may be required to keep the equipment in good operating condition. The Principal Period of Maintenance (PPM) is 9AM-5PM and the response time for shall be four (4) hours. The equipment to be maintained includes: SGI Indigo-2 XZ, 3 each; SGI Indigo-2 XL, 2 each; SGI Indigo-2 Solid Impact R10000, 2 each; SGI Indigo-2 Maximum Impact R10000, 1 each; Sun SPARC server 1000E, 1 each; Sun X655A Storage array (30x1.05GB), 1 each; Sun SPARC-5/110 TGX, 4 each; Sun Ultra-1/170E C3D, 8 each; Sun Netra-I 1/170, 1 each; Sun Ultra Enterprise 1/170, 1 each; EXB-8505XL tape drive, 4 each; EXB-8700 tape drive, 1 each; EXB-4200c DAT tape drive; 2 each; Archive DAT tape drive, 2 each; Sun DAT 4-tape changer, 5 each; Disk pack 18GB (2x9GB), 1 each; Disk Pack 9GB, 5 each; Disk pack 8GB (4x2GB), 5 each; Disk pack 2GB, 1 each; CDROM reader, 4 each; Apple color LW 12/600 PS, 1 each; HP DesignJet 650C plotter, 1 each; HP DesignJet 755CM plotter, 1 each; HP LaserJet 5-SIMX, 3 each; HP LaserJet 4-SIMX, 1 each; HP LaserJet 5-M, 1 each.
