This is a combined synopsis/quotation in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for quotation; quotes are being requested and a written quotation will not be issued. F41636-97-Q1776 is a request for quotation (RFQ). The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-12. Requirement is 100% set-aside for small business, Standard Industrial Classification is 1751, and the small business size standard is 7 million. Contractor shall perform non-personal services to include the furnishing of all labor, tools, equipment, material, transportation, supplies and supervision incidentals and necessary to replace existing doors, frames, and glass on Lackland AFB, Texas and install new dark bronze framing, wide stile doors with Jackson #1085 concealed rod panics and 1/4" bronze tinted glazing for the following size openings: 1 each-6'0" x 8'0" with one pair of 5'0" x 7'0" doors with panics, transom and sidelite at exterior front entrance glazed with bronze tinted glass. 1 each-6'0" x 8'0" with one single 3'0" x 7'0" door (no panic) with transom and sidelite at interior vestibule glazed with clear glass. 6 each-4'2" x 8'2" with one single 3'0" x 7'0" doors with panic, transom and sidelite at ends of building glazed with bronze tinted glass. Doors to include 1-1/2" pair of butts per leaf, standard overhead closers and thresholds. Work will not include sales tax, keyed alike, master keyed, or special cylinders, special pulls or hardware, final cleaning or protection, replacement of any damaged material unless caused by employees of contractor. The period of performance should begin no later than September 20, 1997. The clauses and provisions apply to this requirement are those in accordance with Subpart 13 and 52. Commerce Business Daily numbered Notes 1 applies. Quotes are due by September 13, 1997. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered. (0241)
