Work consists of correction of deficiencies on 56 Government vehicles that were converted to compressed natural gas (CNG). The deficiencies shall be corrected to make the systems operational and within standards. The CNG systems which are installed are manufactured by GFI. The deficiencies must be corrected by a certified GFI systems distributor to keep the warranty intact. Offerors must show proof they are a certified GFI distributor. The pick up and delivery point is Luke AFB AZ. This acquisition will include training and certification. The acquisition is 100% small business setaside. The estimate date for the issue of the Request for Quotation is 16 Sep 97. The estimated closing date is 24 Sep 97 at 4:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time.
