The period of performance is one base year, beginning 1 December 1997 through 30 November 1998, with four one-year options. The government will award a contract from this request for proposals to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and past performance considered. This solicitation is restricted to participation to small business concerns (100% set-aside). The standard industrial code (SIC) is 7381. The size standard is $9.0 million. The solicitation package will be issued on or about 8 September 1997, and may be obtained by submitting a written request along with a non-refundable check inthe amount of $15.00 per package, made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard.
