R -- FACILITY INSPECTOR TO EVALUATE CHILD CARE DEVELOPMENT CENTERS SOL DABT60-97-R-0013 DUE 092297 POC Contract Specialist Kathy Vretos (757) 878-1351/2/3 (Site Code DABT60) Facility Inspector shall serve as member of Training and Doctrine Major Command Child Care Evaluation Team conducting annual unannounced inspections of Child Development Centers (CDC), Family Child Care (FCC) homes, School-Age Services programs and other programs/facilities used for child care, i.e., Short Term Alternative Child Care (STACC) sites, stand- alone Part-day Preschool at 16 installation sites. Each evaluation/inspection will be conducted by technical functional experts in the areas of Fire Protection, Facilities Engineering and Safety. The purpose of these evaluations is to identify any and all threats to the health, safety and well-being of the children cared for in these CDCs, FCC homes, School-Age Services programs, STACC sites and stand-alone Part-day Preschools. Each evaluation will be conducted in accordance with compliance standards (4841-4, Single Source Criteria-AR 608-10 and the Installation Child Care Evaluation Team Self Inspection Handbook) and other related Army/DOD facility standards.
