This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commericial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation consists of the Request for Offers (RFO), and the Model Contract with Attachments 1 through 9. Offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issured. This notice is being issued as a RFO for Security Support Services at the NASA/John C. Stennis Space Center, MS. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA/SSC MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy on April 16, 1993. The provisions and clauses in the RFO are those in effect through FAC 90-46. Offerors shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. SIC Code: 7381 Size Standard: $7.0M respectively. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Technical acceptability will be determined by information submitted by the offeror providing a description in sufficient detail to show that the services offered meet the Government's requirement. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing no later than 15 days before receipt of offers.
