Chavez, Contracting Officer, 617-377-2236. This procurement consists of carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning for the base proper. Carpets shall be shampooed using a rotary brush machine specifically designed for commercial carpet cleaning. Remove stains and wax/chewing gum removal. The cleaning process shall be safe and harmless to the rug or carpet and shall leave no lingering or objectionable odors. The period of performance will be from 97OCT01 through 98SEP30 with three option years. This procurement will be a firm-fixed price simplified acquisition procedure using commercial proactices. A site visit is scheduled for 2:00 PM local time, on 08 September 1997. Quotes will be due by 15 September 1997.
