Byers, nbyers@peacecorps.gov. The Peace Corps intends to procure lodging, dining, conference, and support from the successful offeree on Jan. 11-17, 1998 located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The Peace Corps shall require approximately 15 single rooms & 15 double rooms. Occupancy is expected to begin on Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998 until the morning of Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998. The Peace Corps shall be charged no more than the standard federal per diem rate for lodging and meals for the regional location of the hotel. The hotel rate shall include lodging, breakfast, and lunch. The Peace Corps shall be billed only for actual occupany. The Contractor shall provide a conference room accomodating a minimum of 45 participants from Jan. 11-16, 1998. Contractor shall provide an additional conference room (break-room) to accomodate 20 participants available Jan. 13-16, 1998. Contractor shall provide an office with two tables in close proximity to the main conference area. Contractor will provide a telephone, fax, copier, Macintosh computer, and printer within this office available from Jan. 11-17, 1998. From Jan. 11-17, 1998, the Contractor shall provide an overhead projector w/screen, slide projector w/2 carrousels, 2 cordless lapel microphones, 1 podium w/1 microphone available for use in the main conference room. Contractor shall provide a daily balanced breakfast and lunch available at times agreed upon between Peace Corps and Contractor. A morning and afternoon break shall be provided for all participants from Jan. 12-16 at prior upon agreed times among contracting parties. Contractor shall provide a reception for conference participants on the evening of Jan.11, 1998 at an agreed upon time between Peace Corps and the meals service provider/Contractor. Selection for award shall be based upon the lowest and best valued quote that is suitable and accomodating. Interested vendors should request an RFQ by mail or fax only FAX(202)606-9501.
