Y -- INSTALL PERIMETER SECURITY FENCE SOL IFB 449-0010 DUE 101697 POC Darren Doggett, Contract Specialist, 214) 767-5008 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office in Dallas, Texas plans to issue Solicitation IFB 449-0010 for the installation of a Perimeter Security Fence at the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The successful contractor will be required to install per the specifications and drawings (1) a 12' high perimeter security fence of 2650 linear feet with two (2) vehicle gates and two (2) pedestrian gates, (2) a concrete pathway integral with the fence 4'9" wide X 2650 linear feet, (3) a separate 12' high security fence 38 linear feet with one (1) pedestrian gate, and (4) hardening of the air operation access bridge supports by construction of steel framework and placement of barbed tape (razor wire) upon the frame work to prevent access to the bridge roof. The magitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be available on or about September 15, 1997 with an anticipated bid opening date of October 16, 1997.
