A pre-solicitation meeting will be held 22 Oct 97 to discuss the Alaska "Cool Barge" fuel resupply locations which are being converted to the Alaska posts, camps, and stations program. The solicitation for 1998 deliveries will be issued for locations in southeast Alaska which requires barge or barge/helicopter delivery. The solicitation for 1999 deliveries will be issued for locations in western/Arctic Alaska which requires barge, barge/hose, or barge/truck delivery. Attendance at this meeting is not required to submit an offer when the solicitations are issued. This meeting will take place at the Defense Fuel Office,Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, AK.
