This is a contemplated sole source to Coastal Plains Institute, 1313 N Duval Street, Tallahassee FL 32303. Salamander surveys: the contractor shall re-survey at least 75 steephead creek systems on Elgin AFB with documented populations of Desmognathus Sps. to evaluate the status of those populations. Data collection and scientific reports: the contractor will collect morphological, biochemical, life history, distributional, and ecological data and write scientific research papers describing tow new species of salamanders on Eglin AFB. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
