Debris was created by flooding of the drainage basin following heavy rainstorms during the winter of 1996-97. Project involves sweeping the lake surface for floating debris, moving it to designated areas and removing it from the lake. The start date of the project depends on the lake level rising to the point where the debris can float, estimated at 2/1/98 but could be delayed for up to four years. Bidders will be required to submit a technical and price proposal for this indefinite quantity contract. Estimated date for availability is 9/30/97 with bid opening on or about 10/30/97. (0245)
