ADPA/NSIA 1997 EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CONFERENCE, EVENT #870 You are cordially invited to attend the ADPA/NSIA 1997 Expeditionary Warfare Conference. The Conference theme is "Challenges to Naval Expeditionary Warfare" with an additional emphasis on Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C41). The conference will focus on the challenges facing those who both plan for and execute Expeditionary Warfare. Conference Objectives are to provide Industry with: DoD's and the Services current direction in Expeditionary Warfare; the challenges faced by the Services in conducting Expeditionary Warfare in the 21st Century; a view of the technologies needed in future Expeditionary Warfare; current trends in Amphibious; Mine and Land Attack Warfare; the developing needs in C4ISR to support Expeditionary Warfare . The conference will begin with a reception and dinner on Monday, November 3, at 6:00 p.m. Lt. Gen Paul K. Van Riper, USMC (Ret.), recent Commanding General, Marine Corps Combat Development Command, has been invited to be our dinner speaker. Otheractivities include an open house/pig roast at the Coastal Systems Station, spouse activities and an optional post-conference golf tournament on Friday morning, November 7.
