This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items. Proposals are hereby requested under RFQ N00189-97-Q-6450 a subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Acquisition Group Norfolk intends to pruchase, on a full and open competitive basis, as follows: 9 each, Watkins-Johnson HF-1000 with Preselector, with the following specifications; Frequency coverage from 5khz to 30 mhz in 1 hz steps,+30 dbm 3rd intercept typical, 58 IF bandwidths from 56 hz to 8 khz, Modes; Synchronous AM, FM, CW, USB, and LSB, Tunable Notch, 100 Memories with Scanning, Noise Blanker, Pass Band Tuning, Internal Preamp, Built-in Self Test, RS232 or CSMA Remote Control, Suboctave Preselector, Power 97-253 VAC (47-440 HZ). This unit is a fully synthesized general coverage receiver that combines analog and digital signal processing, (DSP). Award of a firm fixed price contract on brand name or equal basis is contemplated. Proposals received shall specify FOB Destination, Norfolk, VA. Offers other than FOB Destination shall be ineligible for award.
