(NUWC), Division Keyport intends = to solicit for services to
integrate all required Undersea Vehicles Group (UVG) shop= data system
functions in a single system that can support ongoing shop operati=
ons in the UVG Torpedo Maintenance Complex (TMC) at Keyport and also in
all Lightweight and Heavyweight torpedo warshot facilities at Subase
Bangor. = The contractor must be familiar with the following hardware:
Hewlett-Packard = HP3000 Precision Architecture minicomputers; IBM
compatible PC=92s and servers; = and thin ethernet network components.
The contractor must be familiar with the fol= lowing software: MPE/iX
Operating System, Microsoft Windows 95; TRANSACT/iX Transaction
Processing Language; HP Image/SQL DBMS; VPLUS/3000 Data Entry= and
Forms Management System; C++ Programming Language; Hewlett Packard
NetIPC Programming Interface; Windows Socket Application Programming
Interface; = and Microsoft Visual C++ Development System. A secret
clearance is required. = Thecontractor must be classified as a Senior
Computer Scientist or equivalen= t. The contractor, among other
requirements, must have at least 5 years professi= onal experience in
design, coding, testing, integration, and implementation of complex
transaction-processing software using the Image/SQL database mana=
gement system using the Transact/iX high-level language with the
Trandebug/iX na= tive mode debugger and the Dictionary/3000 utility
software running under a currently supported version of the MPE/iX
Operating System environment. I= t is anticipated that a Time and
Material contract will be awarded. The contra= ct will be awarded for
a base period of 15 Dec 97 through 30 Sep 98 with two=, one year
options. The acquisition will be solicited as a 100% small business
set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if
timely received, shall be considered by the agency. The RFP will be
issued on or= about 14 Oct 97 with a 30 day closing. No telephone
