synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation
will not be issued. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is F6550197QP156. The
provisions and clauses incorporated are those in Federal Acquisition
Circular 90-46, and it has a standard industrial code (SIC) of 1796.
Line Item 0001 : Waste Oil Burner Maintenance and Repair. QTY 12, Unit
of Issue Month, price per month with extended total. Wage
Determination No.: 94-2017 Rev # 8 Applies. FOB Point Elmendorf AFB
Alaska. The contractor shall provide all material, transportation,
equipment, and supplies necessary to maintain the Reznor waste oil
burners in Buildings 32-351, 32-141, and 21-200. Also the contractor
shall provide all material, transportation, equipment and supplies
necessary to maintain the Omni waste oil burners in buildings 32-127,
11-110/130 and 21-904 for 12 months. Description of Service: The
contractor shall provide the following services for the duration of the
contract. Inspect every month the combustion chambers, heat exchangers,
cleaning as required. Replace fuel nozzle and air filter as required.
Cleaning the oil strainer at the burner as required. Inspect the fuel
piping for leads as required. Clean the main fuel filter and flue as
required. Clean the end cone. Clean and inspect the spark electrode.
Clean the external surfaces of the combustion chamber/heat exchanger.
Clean the air moving device. The accumulation point manger will supply
a drum for the contractor to place the waste including labeling,
dating, and turn in the hazardous waste storage facility. The
contractor may be handling hazardous waste. The personnel must be
trained in hazardous waste operation (29 CFR 1910,120) and adhere to
all OHSA personnel protective requirements. The contractor shall
provide a schedule of all inspection by building number to the
contracting officer at the start of the contract. Any changes to the
schedule must be approved by the Contracting Officer. The contractor
will provide emergency services within 24 hours after being notified by
QAE. Services will be accepted by the primary or alternate QAE's.
Emergency Repairs under $2,500.00 will be paid via Government Impac
Card. If repairs are over $2,500.00 they will be considered separately
priced, negotiated and funded. The following provisions apply
