U -- COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM SOL RFP 521-111-97(WG) DUE 092497 POC Wanda Goolsby, (205) 933-4492 The DVAMC, Birmingham, Alabama, intends to negotiate a contract with the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Center for Health Services Continuing Education, to provide a DVA Management Development program. this is an on-going program for the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive management development program. The course consists of three one-week sessions at the Birmingham Regional Medical Education Center along with interim home study segments. Total classroom time will be approximately 120 hours and home study requires approximately 80 hours of work. Contract period will be one (1) year from date of award. Any offeror purporting to be able to furnish this program may submit a written response demonstrating such capability, including references, by 09/24/97. Numbered Note 22 applies. (0246)
