This work includes provisions of necessary labor, supplies, materials, equipment, and supervision for the complete renovation of the electrical control system and items listed herein for Crane 394-43 located in Building 41 C-Bay. The crane is a top running electric bridge crane with a 35 ton main hoist and a 10 ton auxiliary hoist. It was manufactured by Bedford Crane in the early 1940's. There has been minimal updating to the crane since that time. It is desired to repair the crane to meet current OSHA and Navy Crane Center requirements and criteria by updating the electrical system, controls and other listed items and incidental related work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1796. The related Small Business size standard is 7.0 million. Completion time is 30 calendar days after award. Estimated value is under $100,000.00. The proposed contract listed here is unrestricted. A Payment Bond will be required for this solicitation.
