The Bureau of Land Management (Alaska) seeks up to two prefabricated "cabin kits". Each pre-engineered wood cabin shall be a single story structure of approximately 420 square feet consisting of two bedrooms, one bath, a living room and kitchen. Telephonic requests for the Request for Quotation solicitation packets shall not be accepted. Award shall be made on a "best value" basis, taking past performance (timeliness, completeness of kits, fit and finish of components, quality of product / components, etc.) and price into consideration. Additionally, quoters may be required to submit drawings, samples, technical data, etc. which portray that they are meeting all of the government's specifications. Quoters will also need to provide several references for whom they've completed projects of a similar scope and size. Low price is not going to be the sole factor for receiving the order. The solicitation will require a quotation price which is FOB Destination to Fort Wainwright (Fairbanks) Alaska, i.e. inclusive of freight.
