These pagers are believed to be discontinued for supply to Motorola dealers, but have been made available under special, one-time purchase to this Agency only as a discontinued item from Motorola, Inc., Schaumburg, IL. The Government has a brand-name requirement to procure only Alphamate II pagers based on compatibility of existing equipment. This combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item is prepared in accordance with the format of Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
