This endorsement signifies that the communication security (COMSEC) subsystem has been certified as having met the appropriate minimum NSA security requirements and is therefore endorsed for use to secure the applicable level of U.S. Government information. Pulse Engineering, Inc. is the manufacturer for items #1,2 &4. Pulse Engineering also, sells item#3, which is manufacturer exclusively by Allied Signal, Inc. located in Baltimore, MD. The part numbers are: (1)#3016-2 KIV-7 4 unit housing with 2 power supply for the KIV-7 & KIV-7HS (2 each) (2)#3014-2 KIV-7 dual unit housing with 2 power supply for the KIV-7 & KIV-7HS (1 each), (3)#4061222-0504 KIV-7 Crypto Module (5 each), (4)#3033-2 KG-194 FPA dual unit frame with 2 power supply for KG194 with update counters & D-sub connectors (4 each).
