This announcement constitutes the solicitation for a sole source acquisition from Artech, Inc. This is a unique project in which specific pieces of Heritage Collection will be placed on permanent display in the Alaska Native Medical Hospital. The production of the display supports and the final execution will be of museum quality and are intended for both professional interpretation as well as general viewing. Scope of work: Supply 8 acrylic cases with maple frames and fabric-covered backing for fur-quilt and 12 masks, provide mountmaking and fitting and install in Conference room corridor. Install whale bone Halibut, opposite cafeteria. Mount, fit and install 2 Hoover masks in cafeteria. Install Melvin Olanna scuplture in floor case. Install photo panels. Fit spacers around maple rail. Installation and mountmaking for dolls in floor case in Eye Clinic Waiting. Install bead work display photo, Radiology waiting. Fit maple spacers. Install baleen on long cafeteria wall. Installation and mountmaking for baby items in floor case, OB Waiting. Install and mountmaking for 2 Aleut paddles, 2nd floor service corridor. Install six framed prints, Day Surgery Waiting. Installation and mounting fur quilt, Opposite Day Surgery Waiting. Installation and mountmaking for whalebone scuplture, 4th floor Elevator lobby. Installation and mountmaking for whalebone sculpture, 5th floor Elevator lobby. Supply freestanding cases for: Melvin Olanna sculpture, Dolls in Eye Clinic Waiting, Baby Items in OB Waiting, and Whalebone sculptures on 4th and 5th floors.
