For the benefit of prospective subcontractors, the names of firms that submitted acceptable proposals in Step One of the Wright-Laboratory requirement are Priority One Services Inc, Niceville FL 32578; Ad Tech System Research, Beavercreek OH 45432, and Mission Systems Inc, Bellbrook OH 45305. The names of the firms that submitted acceptable proposals in Step One of the Base Logistics requirement are SERCO-BAKER, Gibbsboro, NJ 08026 and Raytheon Support Services, Burlington MA 01803. The Invitation for Bid (Step Two) will be issued only to those firms listed above. Requirement is for non-personal services to provide management of the Logistics Support functions at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, including Traffic Management, Combat Readiness, Base Supply, Equipment Maintenance, and Wright-Laboratory Logistics. Prototype munitions support at Eglin AFB was removed from the study prior to issuance of the Request for Technical Proposal (RFTP) (Step 1). Additionally, since no technical proposals were received inresponse to the RFTP for Medical Logistics support, it was not included in the Invitation for Bid (Step 2). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 8744 and the applicable size standard is $5.0 Million. However, only the Wright-Laboratory Logistics portion is a small business set aside. Direct all Requests for solicitations and Routine Communication concerning this Acquisition to the Point of Contact in Item 11 above. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
