This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items. Proposals are hereby requested under RFQ N00189-97-Q-6623, a subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Acquisition Group Norfolk intends to purchase, on a full and open competitive basis, two each (2) circuit breaker, 1600 amper frame, 3 pole, 60 VAC, series 2, type SED, frame cat. No -- SEDG16V1G2, top unit cat. No. -- S916L5IGT, serial no. 05147, service manual w/drawings of spring charging unit, part list, part number SED361600LSGV1D4, mfg Square D. Award of a firm fixed price contract on a brand name or equal basis is contemplated. Proposals received shall specify FOB Destination, Norfolk, VA. Offers other than FOB Destination shall be ineligible for award. The material should be packed for overseas shipment. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Eval-Commercial Items: The Govt intends to make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the minimum technical requirements and submits the lowest overall price. Award will be made to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, offers the most advantageous to price to the Govt. The Govt reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest priced offeror.
