Kraker (309) 782-8570 (Site Code DAAA08) The Rock Island Arsenal intends to ssue a sole source order to EDS Unigraphics, 13736 Riverport Drive, Maryland Heights, Mo 63043 for purchase and maintenance of the following Unigraphics software for use in Egypt: 1 ea UG10770 Manufacturing Bundle for Workstation, 1 ea UG2730 LATHE for Workstation, and 1 ea UG10000-HRSD UG SW/DOC SITE SET -- CD-ROM. Maintenance to consist of the following: Software maintenance consists of maintenance of the licensed Application Software and subscriptions to Software Media and Documentation Media which are integral parts thereof. The contractor will maintain the Application Software and Documentation automatically, until cancelled by either party with at least sixty (60) days advance written notice. Software Maintenance will include the following services: Application Software Updates: Application Software maintenance consist of updates to the Application Software and Documentation, which (i) contain corrections to Application Software and Documentation errors remedied by the contractor and (ii) minor enhancements which may extend the ways to accomplish inherent functions. Rock Island Arsenal is responsible for installing and implementing any update and required data conversion. Error Reporting Procedures: The Rock Island Arsenal may report any suspected failure of the Applications Software to perform substantially in accordance with the most current Documentation. Contractor shall have a "help desk" available by phone to accept request for investigation and determination of possible remedies either by correction of the error or provision for a "work-around" solution. The Contractor shall accept maintenance calls by telephone between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday except on January 1, memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Friday following, and December 25th. Other interested frims able to meet these requirements are invited to submit responses, but only in writing with clear and convincing documentation to Rock Island Arsenal, Attn: SIORI-CTA/Terry Kraker, Rock Island, IL 61299-5000. Responses must include at a minimum brand name of software product(s), part number/product number, specification for product(s), purchase costs, pricing data, discounts, warranty, renewal/maintenance costs, and GSA contract number, if any.
