Gulfport asticipates entering into a sole source procurement for 3 each
Port Fuel Injection Trainer, (G.M.) Atech model 1611/20., and 3 each
Diagnostic package Atech model 1621, and 3 each PFI courseware/service
manuals, Atech p/n 1615. The above authority is cited and
justification is made based on the determination that the government's
minimum needs can best be met by one source, as it supports the
supports the curriculum's objectives and it would require that this
unit of instruction, all course materials and student tests to be
rewritten. The proposed sole source contractor is Atech Training, Inc.
Persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the
requirement by identifying themselves and give written notification to
the Contracting Officer, and provide supporting evidence to the
Contracting Officer with fifteen (15) calendar days after date of
publication of this synopsis. The final determination by the Government
not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information
provided is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice
of intent is not a request for quotation; however, all quotes received
by September 23, 1997, will be considered by the government.
Information received as a result of this synopsis will be considered
solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive
procurement. All questions concerning this RFQ must be submitted in
writing, FAX 601-871-3212 or 2691, no telephone requests will be
