The Bureau of the Public Debt intends to establish on a sole-source basis a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) against IBM's then-current GSA schedule for a period of ten years to acquire new versions and pay periodic charges and processor group upgrades for IBM proprietary operating software, and System/390 Support Family on-line maintenance service. Public Debt has the following software licensed for an Amdahl 5995 Model 2570M mainframe computer: ACF/NCP, ACF/SSP FOR MVS, ACF/VTAM FOR MVS/ESA, BATCH TERMINAL SIMULATOR, CICS/ESA, COBOL/370, DATABASE 2 (DB2) MVS, DATA DICT DB2 INTERFACE, DATA BASE MIG AID UTILITY, DFSMS/MVS, GDDM/PGF, GDDM/MVS, GDDM-0S/2 LINK, GPAR, IMS MONITOR SUMMARY SYS ANALYSIS PROGll, IMS/ESA, IMS/VS MESSAGE REQUEUER, IMS PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS RPTG, INFORMATION/MANAGEMENT, ISPF, JES/328X PRINT FACILITY, ISPF/PDF FOR MVS, LE/370, MVS/ESA SP-JES2, NETVIEW MVS/ESA, NETVIEW PERFORMANCE MONITOR, OS ASSEMBLER H, OS PL/1 TRANSIENT LIBRARY, QUERY MGMNT FACILITY (QMF) / MVS, SMP/E, 3270PC FILE TRANSFER, TCP/IP, and TSO/E. All affirmative responses must be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the compatibility in an MVS/ESA environment and must be received within 15 days of this advertisement. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice to the effect that a comparable items(s) is available or that is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining software from IBM, a sole source BPA against the then-current GSA schedule shall be negotiated with IBM.
