D -- SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE/TECHNICAL SUPPORT DUE 092997 POC Kristie D. Evans, Contracting Officer, 301/669-4018 The Office of Naval Intelligence intends to award to Microsoft Corporation as a sole source of the proprietary software, a purchase order for maintenance/technical support for the period 01 October 1997 through 30 September 1998. Maintenance and software support will consist of problem resolution services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for up to 150 separate incidents per year which will receive the highest priority from the most experienced Microsoft support service engineers. This premier support service includes 2,000 users on the following supported products: Window NT Server/Workstation, Window 95, Office 97 including Word, Excell, Access and Outbook Power Point, Microsoft Exchange including EMail and Mail, Backoffice, System Management Server and all other Microsoft software presently owned by ONI. Also included are special product information bulletins, service pack and hotfix notification from Microsoft development and the following Technical Services: Support Consulting, Support Review, Annual Support Checkup, Technical Information; Technical Support includes: Incident Resolution, Escalation Management, Remote Dial-in, Multivendor Coordination, Onsite Emergency Support,; Technical Account Management includes: Orientation and Planning Session, Custom Support Plan, Environment Profile, Support Usage Reports, and Monthly Status Meetings. A Firm-Fixed Price contract is contemplated for approximately $45,000.00. No solicitation is available. Numbered Note 22 applies except that the 45 days are reduced to 15 days. (0251)
