This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart l2.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 603-18-98 is issued as a request for proposals (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated provisons and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 90-4l. SIC code 7379 applies and small business size is 500 employees. Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, and expert supervision to conduct on-site computer training. All sessions will be held on-site at VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY. The contractor is required to provide all student workbooks, handouts, and/or example files. Training is to be conducted weekdays between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:00PM on a mutually acceptable schedule between October l, l997 and September 30, l998. Classes will be varied, total of l04 classes, including but not limited to: Intro to Windows, Windows Intermediate, MS Word Intro, MS Word Intermediate, MS Excell Intro, Excell Advanced, MS Access Intro, Access Report Generation, Powerpoint Intro, and Powerpoint Advanced. The following provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation: 52.2l2-l, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, addenda clause 852.270-4, Commercial Advertising; 52.2l2-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, the following evaluation criteria shall be used to evaluate offers: l) Company experience, 2) Technical capability, and 3) price; 52.2l2-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; addenda clause, 852.2l9-70 Veteran Owned Small business; 52.2l2-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, addenda clause, 52.232-28 Electronic Funds Transfer Payment Method, and 52.2l2-5 Contract Terems and Conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders-commercial items, sections (a (c) (l-5) and (e).
