R -- CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC COMPETENCY FOR HISPANIC/LATINO HEALTH CARE SOL HRSA-97-BPHC-A264510 DUE 092497 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with COSSHMO, National Coalition of Hispanic Health and Human Services Organizations, 1501 16th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to support the development and preparation of three discrete chapters on substance abuse prevention, treatment and mental health services to be included in a major monograph on cultural and linguistic competency in health care for Hispanic/Latino populations living in the continental United States and associated jurisdictions. The contractor shall: prepare in draft and final versions a) the chapter outlines, b) monograph chapters, c) journal articles, and d) newsletter articles; and prepare press releases. The COSSHMO, National Coalition of Hispanic Health and Human Services Organizations is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services.
