This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to initiate a health communications training program for Health and Human Services Academy students from Eastern High School, Washington, DC. The contractor shall: review and select health experts persons to participate in the program; provide logistics for the program; provide adolescent health research activities, literature and training; provide program evaluation and editing assistance for brochures and videos; convene an opening and closing ceremony; prepare a draft and final report; and make a presentation. The Bowie State University is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is twelve weeks.
