Bogart, (703) 607-6920 The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to issue a Purchase Order to renew their trailer lease with Allied Trailers Sales and Rentals, Laurel, MD for eight (8) office trailers and one (1) lavatory trailer located at 701 South Court House Road, Arlington, VA, for the period 01 Oct 97 -- 30 Sep 98. This will be a one-time acquisition until full-time facilities are obtained. The trailers are currently being occupied by employees and tenants of DISA. This is being renewed on a sole-source basis because these trailers have been occupied by DISA for several years and have been upgraded, customized and remodeled extensively. Therefore, any potential savings achieved through competition would be lost from man-hour losses due to disruption of operations during construction from any new trailer vendor.
