Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Non refundable payment of $25.00 (twenty-five) for plans and specifications to accompany request for solicitation. To be considered a small business for the purposes of Government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40 percent of the volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern. If a large business is selected for this contract, it must comply with FAR 219.9 regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on that portion of the work it intends to subcontract. The intended subcontracting goals are that a minimum of 55% of the contractor's intended subcontract amount be placed with small businesses (SB), including 8.5% with small disadvantaged businesses (SDB).
