The United States Marine Corps is requesting information from sources capable of providing a Mobile Video and Light System. The system must be lightweight, compact, and man portable for one person. Specific characteristics are as follows: (1) color video camera heads, (2) safe for use in a contaminated environment, (3) submersible to depths over 300 ft., (4) possess quick release mounting clips, (5) high wattage light bulbs and infrared capability, (6) video recording capability, (7) two hours of continuous operation, (8) helmet and tripod mounting capability, and (11) lens capability 0-infinity. The equipment identified may have either military or commercial applications, and need not currently be in government supply service to qualify for inclusion to this announcement. Information on items under development is welcome as well.
