RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS: 1) Delivery of routine Radiopharmaceuticals
orders will be delivered no later than 0730 on required date. 2)
Emergency orders placed during normal working hours will be delivered
within 1 hour of order placement. 3) After normal working
hours/weekends all emergency orders placed will be delivered within 2
hours of order placement. 4) Products delivered that do not meet
delivery schedule requirements will be billed at 50% of contract rate.
5) WBC Labeling must be completed and returned to Naval Hospital
within 5 hours of taking custody of the patient's whole blood.
RADIOPHARMACEUTICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1) Radio-Purity testing will be
performed on all (exception- WBC Labeling) products delivered to Naval
Hospital. All products must meet the Kit Manufacturer's minimum
Radio-Purity requirement. 2) No product substitutions will be allowed
without prior approval of a nuclear medicine technologist. 3) TC MAA
doses will not exceed the product insert maximum suggested number of
particles. In cases when the pharmacy is notified that the dose is for
a patient with Pulmonary Hypertension or a right shunt no more than
100,000 particles will be provided. 4) All diagnostic
Radiopharmaceuticals must be within +-10% of the dose calibrated for
the estimated time of use. 5) All I-131 NAI Therapeutical capsules must
be within +-5% of the dose requested. These products will be calibrated
for the estimated time of use. 6) M099 breakthrough concentration will
never exceed 0.15 uCi/mCi Tc99m. 7) Aluminum levels will always be
10ugm/ml. 8) Cardiolite vial partitioning is allowed. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a
