202-685-1081 Naval Computer and Telecommunication Station Washington
(NCTSW) intends to award a contract to Black Diamond Networks, on a
sole source basis for the support of the Standard Workstation
III(CGSWIII) to include system software, network software and
communications software. The usage of Microsoft N/T, Microsoft Office
Suite and MICCS for Windows software. Provide Incident Reporting
Information System and Freedom of Information Act applications
currently residing on two fully clustered Sequent minicomputers, which
are utilized by the National Response Center. Provide system
administration of Sequent minicomputers operating in a DYNIX/ptx
environment. Development of a world wide web page utilizing HotDog32
version 1.01, paint Shop Pro and Photoshop software. The usage of
Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). Provide network and cabling system in
the areas of the Commandant's Situation Room, incident Management
Center, National Response center and their relationship with the
networks and servers. All responsible sources may submit written
responses containing sufficient technical documentation to establish
capability to meet requirement. All responses must be received in
writing within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. Quotes
may be faxed or in writing to the address specified above to the
attention of the Contract Specialist. The fax number is 202-433-2710.
This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition
Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act
(FASA). If no affirmative responses are received demonstrating that
technically acceptable expertise is available from another source at a
lower price, a contract will be awarded to Black Diamond Network,
Inc., without further notice. No solicitation documents are available.
Should this award be made, it will be awarded on a best value basis in
accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Sections 13.106-2 (a)
