solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the
format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; RFP 526-76-97 is issued as a request for proposal and a
written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through
Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This action is being done under
simplified acquisition procedures. The Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) code is 7373. The small business size standard is
$18 Million. The VAMC Bronx, NY intends to award to IMTECH
Corporation, Two Stewart Court, Denville, NJ 07834 on a Sole Source
basis because the IMTECH Corporation is the only Vendor in the U.S.
with this identified Digital Processing Technology. IMTECH Corporation
is the recognized leading organization in complex design, integration
and expertise. IMTECH Digital Processing Technology is state-of-the
art and requires expertise and experience. With their technology, they
can provide the 3X3 Frame Video Wall Projection System for the VAMC
Bronx, NY Situation Room Video Wall Complex. The system includes
Pioneer 40" projection cubes (35khz horizontal frequency), Video and
Audio inputs from PC (2) generated high definition graphics, videotape,
Laser disk, Broadcast TV. It also includes all processing components,
projection cubes, source equipment and computers, control systems
software, audio components, rack with environmental and utility
systems, cables, system design, project management, integration,
installation, dual multi-media production (media to include service),
training, shipment, pre-build, testing, on-site support maintenance and
shipping. IMTECH system is configured to be capable of sampling input
signal at a minimum of 120mhz, in 24 bit RGB, and display full
resolution 1280 x 1024 non-interlaced computer graphics across four or
more projection cubes and will display up to 4 high resolution sources
simultaneously. Display of any and all signal types including NTSC,
HDTV and computer graphics simultaneously and be able to switch between
these sources seamlessly. System also includes touch screen, time based
24-hour minimum programmable control with daily scheduling, Web browser
with "push" content, Laser disc player with continually available Laser
discs or similar, Cable (or DSS), VHS tape deck (or other format).
Required delivery is 30 days from contract award. F.O.B. Point:
Destination, VAMC Bronx, NY. Delivery Location: Chief, IRM Program
(526/003), Bldg 100, VAMC Bronx, 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY
10468. Interested offerors may identify their interest and capability
to respond to the requirement by submitting a capability statement. The
capability statement must provide adequate information and
qualifications of your ability to provide the requested system in order
for the Government to consider whether to open this request for
competition. However, all capability statements received within 5 days
after date of preparation of this synopsis/solicitation will be
considered by the Government. The provision at FAR 52.212-1,
Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items are applicable to this
requisition. Award will be made to the technically acceptable offeror.

items apply to this acquisition and includes the clause at FAR
52.212-5, Executive Orders-Commercial items, applies to this
