Systems Command awarded to Bell-Boeing a delivery order for five trade
studies placed under a single delivery order to Basic Ordering
Agreement N00019-95-G-0242 for $3,840,863.00. Under this delivery order
Bell-Boeing will conduct engineering research and investigation to
determine the feasibility, praticality, validity or desirability of (1)
Alternate Flight Director Solutions, (2) Manned Flight Simulator, (3)
Sequential-Stage Processing, (4) Active Centerstick Controller, and (5)
Power Train Optimization. It is anticipated that all of these study
efforts will be completed thirteen months after award. The V-22 is
currently under engineering and manufacturing development and low-rate
initial production with Bell-Boeing. Only Bell-Boeing has data and
