Brice, (205) 876-8035 The Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space
Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC) has a requirement for repair and
maintenance services for the period of 01 October 1997 to 30 September
1998 to service the DIA/MSIC Sensitive Compartmented Information
Facilities (SCIF's), building 4505 and 4505G3, Redstone Arsenal AL
35898. Services will be to repair or replace any material needed to
maintain the integrity of the existing Mosler COMSEC computer enhanced
Intrusion Detection System (IDS), consisting of a Central Monitor Unit
(CPU), Micro Pro 380 Computer with software package, Smart Remote
Terminal Units (SRTU) which receives and processes electronic data from
Closed Circuit TV cameras, infrared motion detectors, explosion proof
motion detectors, explosion proof door connectors, and various other
intrusion detection sensors. The Contractor shall: Be available 24
hours per day, 365 days per year, to provide repair and maintenance
services as necessary; provide contact or service number, for which the
Government can orally request service, the Contractor response is
required within 1 hour. Mosler currently holds proprietary rights to
the COMSEC Intrusion Detection System (IDS). This acquisition is being
sole sourced to Mosler Inc. due to the proprietary rights of the
equipment and the need for certified Mosler technicians. Mosler will be
requested to submit a pricing proposal NLT 19 September 1997. No
solicitation will be issued pursuant to FAR 13.106-2(a)(2). All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
All proposals shall be submitted by 19 September 1997 in order to be
