TECHNOLOGY EXPO There will be an information technology expo at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Thursday, September 18, 1997 from 10:00 am -- 2:00 pm. This is the largest military installation in Illinios, and the largest Training Center in te Navy. The base includes 1,153 buildings on 1628 acres. The military population is over 20,000. The requested technologies include: Internet, notebooks, barcoding, CD-ROM, telecommunications, database management, file servers, test equipment, network security and much more.
