S -- - NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH MAGONE MARINE SERVICE, INC. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Magone Marine Service, Inc. in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. Purpose of contract is to recover and redeploy a buoy moored in 4700 meters of water, approximately 550 nautical miles southeast of Dutch Harbor. The Redeemer based in Dutch Harbor is the only known vessel which is available to meet recovery dates. Contract date will begin 9/22/97 and end 10/15/97, depending upon local weather. All sources responding to this notice must indicate ability to meet required delivery dates, or will not be considered. this is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
