Frate (202) 564-4786 The Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office
of Radiation and Indoor Air has a requirement for nine (9) flowhood
kits and nine (9) small top sets for small exhaust and return air in
close quarters. This equipment will be used to monitor the indoor air
quality of various buildings across nine of EPA's regions. At a
minimum, this equipment should: 1) have a detachable monitor which can
function as a micromanometer; 2) meet a low range tolerance criteria
of 25 cfm to 2000 cfm; 3) measure differential pressures from 0.0001 to
60 inches wc; 4) have a digital readout; 5) be hand-held for easy
handling; and 6) be contained in a hard shell case to ensure secure
shipping. EPA intends to neogiate with Shortridge Instruments, Inc.,
7855 E. Radfield Road, Scottsdale, AZ, 85260, for the above referenced
equipment. Shortridge Instruments, Inc. is the only known manufacturer
with the technical knowledge, experience, and expertise necessary to
