The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46 (or latest). This is a reannouncement of a previous notice issued on July 24, 1997, with updated requirements as noted herein. This is an unrestricted procurement. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3577 and the industry size standard is 1000. The Government requires one (1) OTDR test set with the following features: Allows multimode and single-mode testing of fiver cable, power meter, and visual Fault locator. This test set must be upgradable for future testing needs. It must work with AC, 12 VDC, or built-in battery power. Must be able to test cable with connector types FC, SC and ST. Must have a printer port compatible with a HP Laserjet printer. The offeror shall propose their standard commercial warranty and provide a copy fo the warranty with the proposal. Acceptance will normally be on the same day as delivery, but will not exceed seven (7) days after receipt.
