Ken W. Adams, kadams@ems.jsc.nasa.gov. NASA/JSC intends to purchase a
Total Organic Carbon Analyzer (TOCA) for International Space Station
(ISS) from KRUG Life Sciences Inc. The TOCA is a complex, highly
developmental hardware system that supports ISS crew health. KRUG Life
Sciences is currently under contract to design, develop, test,
evaluate and integrate two TOCA systems for ISS. Based on experience
gained in developing and delivering the initial units, KRUG Life
Sciences is uniquely qualified to deliver this additional duplicate
TOCA in time to support the compressed development schedule. Delivery
of this TOCA must be no later than July 1, 1998 in order to meet NASA's
requirements for launch on shuttle flight 2A.1 in December 1998. See
Numbered Note 26. RFP will be released on or about 15 days after
publication of this synopsis in the CBD. Firm date for receipt of
proposals will be stated in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit
an proposal which shall be considered by the agency. See Number Note
