The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a delivery order under basic ordering agreement N00019-96-G-0133 on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bethoage, New York. Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) will be contracted for the fabrication of up to fifty one (51) Sensor Correlation Program (SCP) aircraft modification kits and spare components for the F-14A aircraft. NGC shall provide engineering and logistics support got such aircraft modifications. As the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the F-14 aircraft, NGC is the only known source that possesses the technical expertise, engineering data, and detailed knowledge of the F-14 aircraft configuration necessary to detailed knowledge of the F-14 aircraft configuration necessary to provide the required services needed to incorporate the kits into the F-14 aircraft within the time frame required to meet fleet aviation commitments.
