The Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation Division (NRaD) San Diego intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a level of effort modification to contract N66001-97-D-5041 with Lyman Brothers of Fruit Heights, Utah. The contract will be extended 12 months. The contractor will continue to provide network engineering, connectivity, and management services in support of the existing Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite network for USAID Headquarters and approximately 45 remote stations. USAID is currently reassessing their future requirements concerning VSAT. The subject modification allows coverage of services during this reassessment period.
